Sheffield Metals International is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of coated and bare metal products. The company specializes in providing prepainted galvanized, Galvalume® and aluminum for the architecturally designed metal panel industry. More than 25 colors are continuously stocked in both Galvalume® and galvanized steel, complimented with several popular colors in aluminum coil.
Sheffield Metals purchases flat rolled steel and aluminum coils from major domestic manufacturers. Product is then shipped to various coil coaters where specialized painting takes place. Painted coils are finally shipped to Sheffield Metals for a variety of value-added services including slitting, cut-to-length, applying strippable PVC and re-rolling. Sheffield Metals International services the entire geographic United States including Alaska and Hawaii.
An experienced Sheffield sales team has the technical "know-how" to work with specialized paint applications. A large portion of Sheffield's business includes military and municipal projects where technical knowledge is essential. The staff has the ability to meet a wide array of needs including requirements for any coating system from polyesters to fluorocarbons. Sheffield Metals can also match virtually any color to suit a particular project.
Sheffield Metals operates out of four facilities:
- Sheffield Village, Ohio — about 20 miles west of downtown Cleveland
- Acworth, Georgia — about 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta
- Mansfield, Texas — about 35 miles southwest of downtown Dallas
- Denver, Colorado — located within the city limits of Denver
