COOLR GUARD WEATHER TIGHTNESS WARRANTY PROCEDURE

Contractors requesting to bid on a COOLR GUARD warranty must be pre-approved by Sheffield Metals by submitting a contractor application form. Once contractors are approved and they complete the training course, they are free to offer COOLR GUARD warranties. To bid and then provide a COOLR GUARD warranty the following steps must be followed.

1. Completion of application to be an approved warranty contractor.
2. Contractors must complete COOLR GUARD training class.
3. Contractor is awarded a warranty project; a Pre Installation Notification (PIN) must be filled out.
4. At the onset of the submittal process the contractor must submit:
   1. Dimensioned roof drawing
   2. All details being used on the project
   3. Any special project conditions
5. After approval of all submittals the contractor must inform Sheffield Metals of when the project is to start. (Minimum of two weeks notice)
6. All coil, flat sheets and accessories (excluding underlayment) must be purchased through Sheffield Metals.
7. All punch list items created during onsite inspections must be resolved prior to roof being accepted for a warranty.
8. All invoices must be paid in full for coil, flat sheets, accessories and warranty fees before COOLR GUARD warranty will be issued.
